You’re desperate to save your relationship. You’re feeling heartbroken as you realise he’s having an affair. You can’t believe it’s happening as you’ve been together twenty years! Unfortunately, these things are not uncommon and no matter how long you and your partner have been together it can still happen.

You may have missed the signs or were too pre-occupied with other things that you failed to notice what was going on around you.

Alternatively, YOU may have been the one who had an affair and now feel totally sick as you realise what you’ve lost. Is it too late?

Before you even think about saving the relationship you must work out why it failed in the first place. and if it really is worth saving. It may be that it’s time to let go, and the universe is giving you that much needed push by bringing things to a head.

The universe always delivers what you want, so if your relationship is falling apart you may be subconsciously sending out vibes to end it. You may not want to consciously, but really take a good look at things and decide if you’re truly happy.

However, you need to consider that we all have free will, and although you may be able to attract into your life what YOU want, you can’t make another person do what you want them to do. The law of attraction isn’t magic.

If he is in love with another woman there is nothing you can do to change that. However, you may still attract the love you desire with all the qualities you ask for, but it may be that you’ll be drawn to a new path with a new love entering your life.

If however he still has feelings for you then these tips may certainly help. Firstly remember a time you were both so happy and in love with each other.

Picture a future time when you’re meeting up again. For example, if you do end up living apart, imagine he’s coming round for dinner. Picture the scene in as much detail as possible.

Don’t focus on problems that may be pushing your relationship further apart.

For example “he’s always working late, so we don’t spend enough time together, or “I’m always the one who gets the groceries every week”

These little annoyances can get blown out of all proportion if focused on. If you want to save your relationship focus on all the positives instead.

Think of all the times he was there for you when you needed him. Remember how attentive he was, and never missed an anniversary, or your birthday.

Send thoughts of love and light his way, and wish him peace and happiness. This will match his vibrational level to yours. You can’t attract something unless it’s a vibrational match.

3.Clear out the clutter!

A cluttered home can create bad energy. If you’re hoarding stuff you don’t need, throw it out. Be ruthless and have a major spring clean. Bad energy can create discord and could be affecting your relationship. You’re more inclined to feel unsettled and your self-esteem will suffer.

Most importantly communicate! I don’t mean just general chit chat or gossip, but discuss feelings and air any grievances you have. It’s often the little things that build up in your mind over time. Then one day something triggers all these little niggly annoyances to the surface, and you end up having a huge argument.

Before long resentments build up and you start drifting apart. Once this happens you run the risk of losing everything unless you take action.

Finally if things don’t work out it’s not the end of the world. You can survive on your own, and make life whatever you want. Sometimes a lost relationship can make you realise how much strength you really have, and that you don’t need another person to make you happy.

Long distance love can be very challenging. You may be spending weeks or months apart, and you may live in different countries. Even with Skype and social media to keep you in touch every day you don’t have the physical contact of a regular relationship.

You will need a lot of trust and faith in the relationship as your love will undoubtedly be going out and socialising. Many of his or her friends will be of the opposite sex, and your love may be attracted to any one of them.

Keeping the spark alive with your long distance love

You may find it hard to keep the spark alive in a long distance relationship, with so much time spent apart. This is more so if you come from completely different cultures and backgrounds. If language is an issue this makes it even more challenging.

Think about what brought you together and attracted you to each other. Think about those happy memories when you feel lonely or sad and really focus on the feeling.

Create a vision board. Fill it with photos of you and your love as well as images related to how you want your life together. For example marriage, children, the home you’ll share, the place you’ll live. Keep it somewhere you can see it during the day, and make sure you spend time focusing on it.

However, this positivity and love may not be from the person you desire. You see for this to work you must both be a vibrational match.

You must want the same things. Unfortunately, you have no control over another’s desires and thoughts for their future. You can align yourself to their vibrational level, but they may not be in alignment to yours.

I believe that if you’re meant to be together it will work out. Even if you live thousands of miles apart and only see each other once a month. Providing you both love each other and are a vibrational match you can make it work.

Avoid “wanting” and “wishing” Wanting your beloved with you and wishing they were here are perfectly normal emotions when you’re on your own. You hate time spent apart and can’t wait for the day when you’ll be together again. However, these are feelings of lack.

When you want something you’re acknowledging you’re lacking it, and it can create more of the same. I’m not suggesting that if you have a strong love for each other you’ll make something go wrong. However if he or she is not in alignment with what you want, then wishing may only create more lack.

Write down things you like about yourself, and things you like about your long distance love. Try and go into detail as much as possible, but don’t get anxious if you get stuck and don’t know what to write. The idea is to make it pleasurable and fun, not a laborious task

The law of attraction has been around since the beginning of time and never fails to work. Put simply it’s manifesting into your life that which you think about and focus on. The problem is most people tend to focus on their problems rather than solutions to them. As a result they attract more of what they don’t want

You see thinking about a problem is going to draw more of it towards you. Let’s say for example you have a debt to pay and don’t have any money. Most people will worry about a lack of money. Focusing on lack may only serve to attract more of it in your life.

If instead you were to create a plan of action that will make money and pay off your debt you’d be much more likely to achieve success.

Thoughts are energy

Everything in the universe including your thoughts are created from energy. If you were to get a very powerful microscope and examined the particles that make up a chair or table. And then you zoomed in on the subatomic particles, you’d see that they were in a constant state of movement.

Well the thoughts in your mind are are also energy and in a constant state of vibration.

Quantum physics shows that thoughts create your reality. You can change your reality by changing how you think.

Why you should never focus on what you don’t want.

If you focus on what you don’t want to happen you’re actually attracting it towards you. Many times when people become fearful or anxious over a problem they end up making bad decisions, making things worse.

This is often because you’re in panic mode. You don’t expect things to work out well, and your actions may actually drive you closer to that which you don’t want.

You’ll make mistakes far easier and then see these errors as proof you can’t do something.

It becomes a vicious circle. The more you tense up, fretting over over what you’re trying to avoid, or achieve, the more obstacles you’ll face. You’ll keep making mistakes, and in the end probably give up.

So how can you make the law of attraction work for you?

Think about what you want and only focus on that. Forget the things you don’t want in your life, and you’ll be changing your energy from negative to positive. Imagine how great life will be when you get, or achieve whatever it is you want.

You have to really feel the emotion. This is much more than just wishing for good things to happen. It’s about shifting energy.

The universal law of attraction has been around forever, but the majority of people either don’t know about it, or can’t make it work.

This may be because their mind was so mixed up and full of negativity that they were unable to focus on creating change, or if something didn’t manifest they gave up.

I have a strong belief in sprit so have no problem accepting the idea of advanced beings from other dimensions, or the idea of law of attraction. However even if you don’t believe and are highly skeptical you must understand that this universal law is always working, just like gravity.

You don’t need to struggle for what you want. Just allow it to happen. Most times when we want something we’re focusing on lack of not having it. You spend time wishing for that perfect job or relationship.

You may think about it a lot during the day and visualize it coming to you. However you’re actually focusing on a lack of it, and as I previously mentioned the law of attraction always delivers what your mind is focusing on.

Being in a state of allowing is very powerful as you become aligned with your desire and are open to receive it.

You do this by believing and acting as if you already have it.

It’s also important to only use the law of attraction for what you really want, or need in your life, otherwise you will only do things in a half hearted way, or if you do get what you tried to manifest, you won’t be truly happy.

Why affirmations can help the law of attraction work for you.

Affirmations can be a very powerful tool when used with the law of attraction. Simply write down on a piece of paper what you want.

It could be finding a soulmate, better career, more money, improved health etc, then imagining you’ve already achieved these goals, write down how you’re feeling.

e.g “I’m so happy to be in a loving and happy relationship”, or “I’m so happy now that I have more than enough money to pay the bills”, or “I love the new slimmer me”

You must also believe in the affirmation. just saying them everyday will help draw them into your life, but you must have the self belief that what you want is possible. Deeply ingrained negative beliefs can seriously hold you back.

Dealing with negative thoughts

You may believe that a negative thought has already done its damage by simply entering your mind. But, a thought only damages your thinking process when it’s allowed to linger – to become a strong and powerful force in your mind.

These thoughts may keep repeating themselves when necessary to keep you under their “spell.” For example you have a bad experience with a failed relationship.

You blame yourself, and acquire negative thoughts that this will happen again in other relationships. These damaging thoughts rise to the surface at the start of a new relationship and you then become focused on failure.

Getting rid of deeply ingrained negative beliefs isn’t easy and requires some work.

You can start by acknowledging these thoughts as it makes them less powerful.

Practicing meditation, and calming the mind can make a huge difference to your state of wellbeing and help you see things in a more positive light.

Some beliefs are so deeply embedded in the subconscious that professional counseling is the best option.

Once you’ve removed negative thoughts replace them with optimistic, happy thoughts, and you’ll raise your state of vibration.
